Really enjoyed this book! Its about the first house shown on This Old House....a show I saw at that the time and loved it!! (wish PBS would release the old shows from back then) The book covers the what they did for the show house plus what you should do/watch for if you are doing your old house. A fair amount of the ideas are still sound today...but some are outdated. I loved how the book had arrows within the text to the many pictures instead of using captions under the pics. I like that method. Its a well done book! My fav page was 56....Bob wearing that hat during demo...I still remembered how I lauighed back in 1980 when I first show that episode! It was great seeing that again! Glad they documented that house...and I believe the show recently went back there to see how it aged. (there were rumors they were going to redo it again...that be great!)
