My cat loves it so much that she sent the butterflies flying to pieces! The button actually broke after less than 10 use, making it hard to switch it one or off.A bit noisy and can easily get knocked to the side when the cat plays with it. Overall, cats loves it but not sturdy enough. There is nothing to dislike. What I love is that the flimsy looking butterfly is actually tough as nails. It has been 6 weeks and I have never had my cat show interest in anything for to long. With this toy she is so enamored and spends a lot of time playing with it. It is truly interactive as I have to only turn it on (Oye! How about a remote). It also is not a dead barret factory as I have changed them only once.My 6 yr old cat is immediately drawn to the movements of this butterfly wings. Once she pounces however the base is not terribly sturdy and she easily knocks it over! I will say however that she still loves this toy and despite taking a licking ..it is durable and keeps on ticking!!!Great product~My cat loves it!My cat absolutely loves this!Beautiful toy. Love itI have 2 cats- both love to watch this toy for hours and pounce and slap the butterfly. The tail has fallen off already- but it comes with 2 butterflies. But I just hit glued it back on and so far so good. One cat loves it the other doesntBought for a new kitten as an initial toy. Instantly catches his attention when turned on so great for redirection. It is definitely one of his favourite toys after 2 weeks of use.He bites and pulls at the toy fairly aggressively and it has not yet fallen over due to the sturdy base, however an older kitten may be able to pull it over.IssuesMy only issue is that the mechanism is quite fast so he gets bored fairly quickly as he can’t keep up. Numerous speed options would be ideal. However, he is happy with us turning it on to initially draw his attention, powering off and spinning the butterfly manually.I purchased this for my two little kittens. They love it, but one kitten is particular is completely addicted to it! Lol. She just never seems to ture of playing with it. So much so that I end up, having to distract her with a different toy, just so I can put it up away out of reach. To avoid it getting broken whilst not on.As sadly that's one thing I wish was different about it, that it had an automatic turn off after so long or a timer. You have to turn it on and off manually, which is fine if you are in close proximity to the cat. Also when I first put it on the butterfly flew around quite high. However die to my kitten loving to not just swat it, but pounce on it and lay on it lol its now flying around at a lower height. Due to the metal ending some... I'm not sure as yet just how low it will end up flying through my kittens. It does come with a spare butterfly on the metal though which is good.... I'm not sure as yet though, if you can buy additional ones. I'm really hoping so. As this really is a firm favourite so far with one of the kittens. I'm so glad i bought it, as its great seeing them both have so much fun with it...Ok so this toy is great! But my kitten (29weeks) was not a fan. Initially he ran away. Then I realised he just hated that it was on. So I put in 3 batteries for no reason, because my kitten hated it on. Eventually...after a few hours he touched the butterfly. After 24hrs I found him whacking the butterfly occasionally. It has now been 48hrs, he is ok when its on but doesn't really go near it. Overall good toy, did bring out my kittens curiosity, however definitely not worth £15. Would not recommend as the butterfly is all he really likes. And he usually just leaves it to play with his favourite toy....the plastic spring toys!
