I secured this colorful little scratcher under the leg of a valuable piece I don't want my cats to scratch. It's an excellent distractor.It's tricky to assemble without twisting the fabric covers, however, but it can be done, without any tools.Bought this item a while ago for my cats birthday. Opened it yesterday to put it together to find there is no bolt to screw anything onI don't know why this doesn't have a higher star rating. Probably because only like 4 people before me had reviewed this and one of those people was probably Karen. Anyway, other than the colors being awful (cmon guys, no need to snazz it up just make a grey and beige one lol) this little cat tree is awesome. It took me a whooping 2.5 seconds to put together and my cats are obsessed, plus its way cheaper than any other cat tree.
